Prayer for restorement of broken relationship
I honestly don't know how to put this into words. Right now, I feel so exhausted and done with everything. I feel numb, lifeless, and unable to properly feel, express myself, or even talk to anyone about what is in my heart.
The last time I remember being truly happy was on my 20th birthday, when some of the dearest people in my life were still close to me. Since then, life has taken so many things away. In some ways, I have grown, changed, become stronger, and learned to overcome many things. I have managed to let go of so much.
But there is one thing—one person—my heart has never been able to let go of.
My heart still aches for the presence of someone who was once one of the dearest people in my life. I ache to hear his voice and see him again, even if it were just one final time. During some of the darkest moments of my life, when life itself felt hopeless, he was there for me. He cared for me with such immense love and protection, almost like a father. What we shared was such a pure, soulful, and beautiful bond—something I will always cherish.
Sometimes, all I wish for is to live those moments again, even just once. Just once more, with that same person.
He is my uncle. Because of family issues, misunderstandings, and distance, we lost contact with each other several years ago. Throughout all these years, I have never tried to contact him directly or through anyone else. Deep in my heart, I have always believed that if this relationship is meant to be restored, it will be through God's timing and through the work of my Lord Jesus Christ.
Even as I write this, my heart aches and my eyes are filled with tears. I have never truly opened up about this to anyone before, but I can no longer keep carrying this pain silently.
September 9th is my birthday. My prayer may sound simple, but it means more to me than I can ever explain. I pray that somehow, by God's grace, I may receive even one simple birthday wish from my uncle. That one moment would become a memory I would cherish for the rest of my life.
More than anything, I pray for the restoration of our broken relationship. I pray that every misunderstanding, distance, hurt, and barrier between us may be removed according to God's will. If it is meant to be, I pray that God will soften our hearts and make a way for us to find each other again.
I truly believe that God is able to do what feels impossible to us. I believe in the power of prayer and in the words of Scripture—that when two or more agree in prayer, God can work in ways beyond what we can imagine.
So please, if you are reading this, please pray for me.
Please pray for healing in my heart, for peace in my life, and most importantly, for God to restore this precious relationship if it is His will. I don't want to force anything or interfere with God's plan. I simply place this longing in His hands and ask Him to do what only He can do.
Lord Jesus, if there is still a way, please make a way.
Amen. 🤍
