Praying for another person is less about finding impressive words and more about giving that person your attention and care.

Begin with what they actually asked for

Respect the request they shared. If they asked for peace during a family situation, you do not need to invent details or assume you know the solution.

Pray for the person, not just the problem

Along with the specific need, pray for strength, support, wisdom, rest, courage, and caring people around them.

Come back again

One of the most meaningful forms of support is consistency. If a request stays with you, pray again later. If appropriate, leave encouragement so the person knows someone noticed and cared.

You do not have to carry it alone.

Let someone pray with you.

Share what you are comfortable sharing and let the PrayerKind community stand with you.
